Thanks! All the covering is now done and the shrinking and pinning down has begun...

Cheers,

The eye-wateringly lurid colour scheme looks pretty good; final assembly and some finished pics tomorrow!

Cheers,

Dan.

Done! Nothing like a subtle colour scheme...

Cheers,

Dan.

Very cool Dan! A dazzle camouflaged canard pusher! Practically impossible to dodge it because it would hit you before you could work out which way it was going  Cool Prop looks good.

Cheers J!

I went to the trouble of moulding blades for a pusher prop as I got fed up with forgetting to wind the last one backwards and having it madly thrash about on the floor behind me after launch. After a few bevvies in the Barkston hangar, this was even more of a problem...

Cheers,

Dan.

Nice!

If you are willing to build and fly a Planarian, hiding it or yourself is futile. <Grin>

Yes, I love strange aircraft also.

She'll probably not get flown in anger until the August UK Nats. If we get some rare calm weather, I might be tempted to wander down to the local park! Traditional "chuck across the bedroom" this morning looked good; nice and floaty with a slight right turn. The pusher prop dictates a right/right pattern...

Cheers,

Dan.

I can see how 'hand winding' the Planarian would be dangerous. One small slip of the finger will have you repairing the wing T.E.

Hi all! The Planarian is in need of repair after a serious wall/floor collision at the Nats! It was a great flier and here is a not great vid of it in action... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IsanzeIjaY&feature=youtu.be

Dan,
What's not so great about the video?
I thought differently.

Great flight Dan ... it was good to see the model in the flesh, but hope to see it flying as well next time.

I thought the vid GREAT!  The model is a lot larger than I first thought, comparing it to your hand as you picked it up.
