Halo All

Die Fly performances of the MiG17 with front DF Location (under the Cockpit) ist not satisfying. The Motor thrush is just enough to cruise. I will Change this to a post Location like the F104G or Skystreak semi-scale.
Now i just begin to build a Pistachio scale of a Mirage III S - Swiss AF.
It seem to be promising with 3.2 g all included and nearly 2 dm2 Wing surface.
Just watch the Fotos of this low weight model.
The fly test will be done after my Holidays.

Yours

Very inspiring.  I have Depron in 1/16" and 1/32 thicknesses.  In the past the 1/16" was very easy to roll but the 1/32" always creased instead of rolled.  It hadn't occurred to me until now that maybe I just needed to lightly sand off the outer skin as that might allow it to take the curve better.

I use     swissporXPS 300 GE      heat sliced to about 1/40 "" thickness (about 0.6 and 0.7 mm)  A4 Sheet to be printed with ink Jet printer .
I can roll this material until a good 1/6"" Diameter tube, by preformed (roll) this sheet firmly sandwiched between a dowel and papersheet. Perhaps this will works with duromatic.
The dowel diam. may be 1/3 of the wished tube diam.
