The indoor season is about to start here in Malmö, Sweden, and this year I wanted to prepare a new model for one of the categories I most enjoy flying.
I have chosen the Zippy Sport, an ugly but charming airplane, at least as I see it.
I´ll check if the plan is in the gallery, if not I will upload it.
Real plane, plan and fuselage side:

Thanks Aki!

Here is the fuselage almost finished. I have followed the plan almost completely, Just changed one panel in the nose for lighter sticks, and have provided a vertical slot over the dowel position in order to be able to adjust the stabilizer (piper cub style).

I have just uploaded it, don´t know how long will it take to appear.

Anyway, tail surfaces ready to cover, rudder is made in two pieces, with the curve and upper part split and laminated in order to ease the bending

The wing is half way built. I will change the simple dihedral for a double one, lets see how does it work....

I´m back on the zippy after some busy days.
Everything is almost ready to cover. AUW as seen is 3 gr.
Here is my new frame for shrinking the tissue, it´s enough with twistings in my wings and tail surfaces!!

Thanks DaddyO!

I bought the tissue as "tissue paper" or "silk paper":

http://www.clairefontaine.com/products-page/emballage-et-papiers-cadeaux-n2/sachet-de-papier-de-soie-8f-0-75x0-50m-95457C/

it´s 18 gr/m2, which has increased  the weight of the fus in 1 gram after adding one coat of dope

Yesterday I had the bostonian event, here is the Zippy as it flew. The fin resulted to be too small, the plane flew swinging from side to side. After increasing the fin area the problem disappeared. I will make a new bigger fin.
I took with me a ordinary prop and a single blade prop, that resulted to make the plane fly longer. Not easy to balance.
