Hi all, attached is the photo of my new Aeroflyte Nova, the plans kindly supplied by Tyro, and kindly built for me by Mike as a Christmas present.   Hopefully flies shortly.

The purists will notice it has ailerons, as the original lacked in this area.

Hi Decca, thanks for generously providing the original plan, it is much appreciated.   The new Nova is electric, my first one in 1980 had a breathless Cox 15, which was replaced with an OS 25 making it really perform.   Sadly the model was sold, and I regret having done so.   The kit went out of production, and I never expected to seen one again.   So now, 35 years later,  my flying buddy built me a new one (what a guy), and looking forward to seeing her slowly meander past, at eye height, one calm evening.   Ah bliss!

HI Again.Yes I have the full kit in my collection and through TYRO 185 we have managed to get a few of the Aeroflyte plans onto this site.Don't know whether I will build this model as this kit was one of the last Aeroflyte kits that I purchased a few years back.Cheers Decca. Smiley

Looks great.
It would be a nice little flyer with the ailerons added.

Thanks chaps, it's a shame the Aeroflyte era is gone, along with OK Models, and the like.   It's truly amazing to be able to access the old plans here, and fly them.

The Aeroflyte Nova has been test flown twice today.   Flies like a dream, but prefers 1/3rd throttle.

Thank you Hippocket for making this possible.

Hi All,
Didn't see these on the site (doesn't mean they are not there) so I thought I would up them. (I could'nt see how to put them up where the other Aeroflyte plans and catalogs reside)

cheers
Geoff

Hi Guys,

We still need sheet No.1 for the Aeroflyte Crusader, this is the sheet that will show wing outlay.

Regards

Steve.

Nice to see more AF plans showing up in the Plans Gallery, just a reminder that we still need sheet No.1 for the Aeroflyte Crusader, this is for the wing details.
Cheers.
