So it's been a life time since I've had the time or the interest to do any aero modelling.
This is something I built long ago that worked but only just !!
Basically it was under powered ( 2x KP01s on 4x120mah NiCad's )  it would fly a couple of circuits but only in dead calm weather ( which doesn't happen here in the UK )
After a conversation with a club mate ( BOFFIN ) it was suggested that a couple of 10 gram brushless motors might be the way to go  Cool
I've put new motors in and re-jigged the down and side thrust and that was all I was going to do with the model until I'd given it a try, but as I looked at it I could see more damaged tissue on the vertical than not  Sad so I decided to re-cover it ( tissue over mylar ) then I looked at the tatty stab and thought  " well better re-do that as it lets the fin down " then I looked at all the hanger rash on the wings and fuz  Roll Eyes and before you know it I'm stripping the fuselage  Roll Eyes well I had to make a new battery box for the lipo so it seemed a bit rude not to  Grin
So this is the state of play at the moment  Cool
Tail feathers covered fuselage covered in mylar waiting for tissue  Cool
It's a 36" wing span plan from Sam's

Thanks it's on hold at the moment it needs some low power test glides but the weather here in the UK is horrible but it's improving slowly
