The thing about advice is, all of it is right. You just have to refine it and come up with this magical blend. Please build that all sheet model for chucking around and getting the feel before you got back into the sticks with a new build! I thing the reason for the shape of the fuse ahead of the wing is to gain some lift...surely there are other more profound reasons. There are cheap knock offs for the GO Pro that attach to a head band so you can video hands free. That launch must be critical!? Sad Angry Cheesy Grin

How about a nice soft bungee with a forward hook, just enough to get some flying speed.

I was actually thinking of building a launching pole.  Just a long pole with a piece of rubber attached to the top.  Then putting the new foam glider that Crabby suggested to test the design and practice trimming with.

I'm going to build a foam glider that is full size.  I am going to get a new copy of the plans and put that on the foam.  Then just build right on top of that.
