Hi all,

I was wondering if rubber from a bike tube would work if a stripped it into thin lengths? Also if anyone is interested here is a link to my current build of Boston Beancraft Banana. http://www.hippocketaeronautics.com/hpa_forum/index.php?topic=21825.0

If that link doesn't work it is the Bostonian section of Indoor Free Flight.

Thanks, Will

If it is anything like the inner tubes of my mountain bike, I would say that it would be a pretty poor substitute for FAI Model Supply Tan Super Sport.

Regards.

You might as well try Durex.  Don't do it mate.  There are plenty of good free flighters in Oz who can help you with some decent rubber, and to be honest it will be the difference between failure and success.  Team Oz let's help this guy out!
