That looks really good - very clean work on the spinner.  I've gone to using clear plastic gift wrap for flat canopies and windows.  It's very light (just a bit heavier and stiffer than the plastic wrap used for food), will easily follow around a 2-D curve and doesn't try to spring back while gluing.  The biggest drawback is that it's easy to crinkle it if you poke the window while handling the model.

Love that color scheme, look forward to hearing how it flies.

Cheers,

Mike

I'm calling my Little Gem build complete!!!  Here are the final photos with the tail wheel and pilot name finished.

I won't be flying this plane as it will be a Christmas/thank you gift to my broker for 2017.  A while back, I asked him what is favorite number was and if he had a nick name in the service.  He answered with "22 and Haddock".  That's why the plane is not the usual #14 as shown in photos and then I added his nick name with a silver gel pen.  Now I have to figure out a safe way to box it for shipping = Oregon to Florida/at Christmas time so it has to be strong.  I learned previously not to use the inflated air bags - they swell at altitude during shipping and break the plane Angry

Batch one of two of the completed plane.

I spent a hour or two boxing up the plane for shipping.  I am hopeful that it is very safe.  Nestled in a braced center cradle.  The top part lifts out freely so you can then remove the plane.

I just got word that the plane arrived in perfect condition!!  That's coast to coast:  Oregon to Florida  Smiley  Now I wonder how the plane will deal with the humidity - although I think it will just be displayed in my brokers office.
