The Plain Plane (OD-17) worked out so well that I decided to add  two more simplified, beginner's kits to my product line.  Since I am home bound during recovery from my hip replacement I am catching up on several design projects and getting some long delayed kits into production.  The next beginner's kit will be the Satellite.  The photo is the prototype covered before I shrank the tissue. I've already redesigned it to make it easier to build. (The way I did the butterfly tail is beyond beginner level.)  should be reporting on flight trials next week.

The next one will be a biplane. Double Trouble.

It doesn't worry you that there is already a long established 'Satellite' model ?....in fact a range of them...

Bill,

Sorry about the delay in processing your order.  I've had five days of dealing with some unanticipated complications from my reaction to one of the anesthetics used in my recent surgery and have not been able to get to the computer in my shop.

A few more shots of the Satellite prototype in test.  Is that cute or what?

Here's a short video of the Satellite prototype flying.  The wing and tail have been revised. from the previous photos.  I'm still making revisions to the tail, and have drawn up a low wing version.  If they both fly as well I will probably produce the low wing version simply as a matter of style.
