Going through the FAC back issues now available in the FAC archives I came across an article by Paul McIlrath with a system to make spoke wheels. I am making a P-nut that could use some so I decided to give it a try. I didn't have much luck until I modified the fixture with small clothes pins I got at Walmart to hold everything in place while I thread the spokes. I was very happy with the results, even though they should get better with practice.

Nice little wheels, Jim. I really like the clothes pegs idea and will pinch that!

I checked out the thread, and it was quite impressive. I hope mine flies half as well!
