I'm looking at the plans on the gallery for the OK/Pilot Decathlon with the 96" wingspan. at 100% scaling, that looks like it is way too large for it to be correct size to be printed out. Most of the shops I have called can only print 36" wide but the plans are showing it to be 77" wide which I'm guessing is incorrect. Does anyone know the scaling that they would have to be printed off at to be correct?

THanks

Well, it appears the plan needs to be fixed. New PDF will be online shortly.

That being said, the fuselage sheet will still be slightly over 36" wide @ 36.5". That won't help your printer. Odds are the printer/plotter they use can accept 42" paper (perhaps not) but it's not a size they use often enough to justify stocking the paper for. Also, on 36" wide they can't print edge to edge either so it's likely that 35.5 is as wide as the image can be.

Printing on 42" paper is the best option but there are ways to get the entire plan on 36" but that requires two copies.

Edit: The plan has been replaced in the Gallery at the correct size.

Hi BillyP.  Why don't you just ask Ratz to print the plan for you.  He does an excellent job on quality paper.

Sorry. Printing plans is "on hold" for the time being.

Working on correcting that but no idea when it will happen.
