back to the rubber powered models, (still need to finish some friends models, but i separate time to rubber power again !!!)
i Have in my hands the amazing and beatifull mustang p51 from the golden age reps. kits, first, i say a BIG thanks to Mr. Steve Fauble (Faif2D) only in my dreams, i have the chance to build one of this kits, now all dreams became true!!! thanks Steve!!!

I admire Mustangs, all version, color and markings etc, a Mustang is a Mustang!!!, and nobody tell me, sometimes ask "i need to build a beatifull mustang P51", to me the most powerfull and refinated flying machine , ever, all times, from young to old, from pilots to modelers, everybody wish to have a mustang p-51!!!

i wish to take a way far from the classics warbirds color markings, and searching for info of alternative versions, this kits contains the Anson Racer n° 45 version, a yellow one.
iam no sure yet, but it like me.

firts at all need to study the plan, and searching info for details and for the n45 racer. a kit piece F4B make me crazy iam not understand yet this piece, so if somebody can help me i apreciatte very much, iam in contact with Mr. john Rood, he build time ago the same kit, in Tunskeege version, i ask some questioms to him.

Marcelo,
Don't know if you've seen this link of the restoration of Anson Johnson's Number 45 or not?  Here's the link: http://warbirdsnews.com/warbirds-news/anson-johnson-p-51-restoration-update.html

Hope you find this helpful.

hi Sky9pilot!!! yes iam watching this link!!! thanks! seems need to give somi modifications to keep the model close to the real racer
i found a clear version of the plan and from the F4B piece, and i see is a triangular piece just this, i think this piece keep the wing in the diedhral angle quen the wing is fixed to the fuse.

I am glad that the kit will bring you pleasure!  Their kits are very nice and I have had good luck with the few that I have built.  The build of a civilian version would be very nice and a relief from all the war birds.
Have I told you the story of the overflight that I experienced?  I was in my garage when I lived in an airpark.  There was a very loud noise and I looked up just in time to see a P-51 go over me at something like 50 ft, just barely over the tops of the trees. The sound of the merlin was beautiful!  I ran out and he pulled up in a climbing turn and then went down the runway at about 400 knots with the sweet sound of the merlyn bouncing off the trees.  He then pulled up and did a slow roll as he climbed away.  One of those moments that you will never forget!!!!!!!!!!!   Have fun my friend.
