I noticed today that Hepcat's 1964 Downbeat A1 has made it to Outerzone.  This is a really nice simple glider that meets the old A1 spec.  They fly extremely well with an easy to build  flat bottomed wing and my last one was seen heading to Australia after I failed to set the DT on that 'one last flight of the day'.  A very good first glider project for a newbie.

I saw and downloaded it.  I really like his designs as they just make sense.  Will I build it?  Don't have a clue, but it does look interesting.

I used to like painting with dope but now I can't remember why!    Steve Fauble
