I'm hoping to get to at least one of these dates. Are tables provided or should I bring my own ? It would be useful to know the ceiling height too  Smiley

Hi Mefot, you'd be very welcome.

It costs £6 for flyers (juniors are free.) Flyers need BMFA Insurance.

The hall is 32x34m and about 7m ceiling height. That equates to 8 badminton courts and it's big enough for both Free Flight and Micro R/C (no Quads, Helis or Shockies allowed though I'm afraid.)

There are some tables but they are the plastic folding type like this:

It's probably a good idea to bring one if you can (I personally find them too chunky for my stooge clamp  Roll Eyes)

This might help you judge the size: www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1ArQG0gcBQ

Thanks Jon,

I hope to make a few of those, and I hope to see you there  Grin

For anyone that hasn’t been there, the Hall is very good, and there is a Greggs 5 mins walkaway for coffee and a lunch time fill up if your belly rumbles  Grin.

BTW The PMFC always give a warm welcome to newcomers.

Yes, thanks for the list!

I've noted the dates down, but only for special trimming ops as it is a 4.5hr round trip for me for only 3hrs of flying  Shocked

Just a reminder that this weekend is the first PMFC Indoor event at Bushfield on Saturday morning 10am-1pm.

Unfortunately we clash with the Alfreton meeting but you have an hour to get from one to the other!  Shocked Grin

I think your pass might be safe, Nigel!  Smiley
I'm already doing the Peterborough, home and then Impington the next day routine ..... more than enough for me!

Only an aeromodelling 'Phil Collins' (Live Aid) like Pete Fardell would contemplate it I think  Tongue
