Seversky P-35 or XP-41
Interesting little plan, the kicking mule insignia was from the 95th Pursuit Squadron, which later became the 95th Bomber Squadron of Jimmy Doolittle fame. By the time the P-35 was delivered to the 1st Pursuit Wing, the 95th had left. So they were not using the P-35. How this plan was conceived as a P-40 is a great mystery, however the plan also quite closely resembles the XP-41 as well.
