Hi Guys and gals.
Whenever I get onto a major build I take lots of holidays and celebratory time off periods these can be lengthy and result in a loss of mojo and fine motor control. so I usually grab a small project to get back into shape, hence the weird Noctule.

The wing seems simple and it is till you realize there is no way to have the root rib line up with the next dihedral joint when the wing attaches to the fuse. Go with the flow. I read both Backstrom and Fischers articles and they make no mention of this anomaly. Going with the flow I built the wing and made the dihedral joints with CA glue after jigging the thing up w/ the proper angle. I thereby lost the proper angles so I took it apart and sanded it well then reglued it by double glueing with Duco/Acetone. I am not expecting this to work too well but here it is drying it another jig. No more fooling with CA. Its got its place but for now I'll leave its one-shot properties to the black-belts!

Here's the view that shows the dihedral vs the wing mount. After applying a rollo ruler I see there is some positive incidence in the plan. Still. No making a mountain of a mole hill at this point. Some jokes you really need to wait for the punch line.

I built and flew 2 or 3 Noctules when I was in college in the late 1980s.

Fun, for sure, and I always wondered if there was a way to increase the duration of one.

Sometimes I get SOOO annoyed at all the modelling sites Angry Grin, especially those with plans and people building from them!  I somehow missed this weirdo from Al (I'm unfortunately a sucker for unusual/oddball planes), and now Crabby has shoved it under my nose Roll Eyes!

I promised myself NOT to even think about building another model concurrently, but.....

I DO need a break from the brainbusting that the SHARK presents Cheesy.

Crabby, I'll probably be joining you with this.
