About 2 years ago I got into indoor free flight models. I made a few pennyplanes and a few smaller models in the 1 gram range. I stopped building in May of 2022 and now i'm addicted  again...

I scaled up the Poonker ministick model to to a wingspan of 9.5". It's interesting features are :  a 3d printed front bearing, dollar tree foam board prop formed on a 5" cup and vegetable bag covering,. It's a bit porky at 1.36 grams but I'm getting 1:20 minute flights on 1000 turns of 1/16" motor. The goal is to improve from here and get to 3 minute flights in my living room.

I'm still flying, repairing and trimming the same one. Here's a 8:00 AM flight before heading out to work.  My 5 year old videographer did a great job capturing the footage !
