Title: ROW for the Nats
Post by: danberry on June 23, 2013, 10:35:54 PM
This is the resurrected Maverick from last year's adventure in the corn.
Everything that stayed in the corn for three months with the exception of the wing is back in order. I built a new wing and eliminated the effort of the curved tips.

AME 06. APC 5.5 x 2.5 at 28K. 8.2 oz.
It has flown and I'll consider it trimmed.

Do you have any trouble with the floats messing up flight trim?

I did until I braced them. It flies with more decalage than a non=float plane. Also seems to have a bit more drag.....
