Title: Cox .020 propeller
Post by: jj oroño on September 26, 2013, 09:29:33 AM
Hello builders

I have two Cox .020 used for my “micro projects” but just have one propeller (those yellow ones).  due to the oldness of the propeller  has a small crack.

I can’t get the original, anyone know if there is a manufacturer that currently sells  ???

Regards

PD. Sorry for my bad English

Props for the Cox 020 are available from Cox International who sell on eBay.
They have a good reputation, and many parts are available for your engine.

John
p.s. Your English is fine  ;)

John gives good advice.
'Cox International' ebay store is "XENALOOK".

I've bought several items from them and everything was as advertised and was delivered in excellent condition.
Shipping, to the U.S., was very reasonable.

APC makes a 4.2 x 2 prop for the 020. It has a few more RPM tham original Cox props.

Dan,
Won't he need 'inserts/adaptors' for the APC prop?
The shaft hole in the APC prop is 1/4".

The spinner on the 020 will nest into the hole on the face of the prop and center it..  I know guys who use them, guys who don't.
The grey Cox prop is a bit thick. I'll file/sand the face to thin it and round the tips.

Dan,
Do the spinners fit .020 Pee-Wee's?
Thanks,
Dave
