Title: DPC Aero-Werkes Sterling Beginners P-51 Mustang
Post by: Brenda on October 21, 2015, 11:34:00 AM
Got it finished. Had to wait for a few things like wire. I altered it from the orig by placing bellcrank on top of wing and running straight wire back. I really dislike bends in control wire. I had to add a lot of weight to the tail for some reason. I'm guessing the orig Sterling kit had heavy oak wood in the tail or something. I've made a lot of profile planes over the years and this one should be zippy being as light as it is. I really need to find some more non-rubber Cox props like Zinger or Top Flight.
