Title: MOAR 43

I will continue with MOAR 43 construction progress here.

As said previously, the only available plan was in .pdf format however it could be zoomed up to 'Actual size' which was a Godsend. Construction progress to date is that Autocad 'tracings' have been made of the main fuselage formers / wing ribs etc and I have been promised that laser cut parts, along with a full size plan print-out, will be completed for me to collect at the Elvington LMA show. I can't wait to get the parts and to get started balsa bashing - in the MOAR 43, there is enough traditional construction to satisfy even the most ardent builder of stick & tissue flying things.

More anon...

I had to look this one up.  Looks like quite the project, "balsa bashing" seems like an understatement.

It is a bit of a challenge; perhaps I should have kept quiet until I finished it but by posting it on here, it's a spur to complete the job or have egg on my face (which wouldn't be the first time). I am hoping the laser cutting route will reduce the amount of work involved and improve accuracy but we'll see...

I'm sure you'll be fine.  Just work at a comfortable but steady pace.
