Title: yankee IV
Post by: skyrocket on June 22, 2018, 10:09:21 PM
Does anyone know if there was an article that went along with the plan in M.A.N, Jan.1951?...I have uncovered of picture of it in a Sept. 1950 copy of Aeromodeller and a brief write-up but nothing else...I think that would be good enough for it to qualify for the 1/2 size Wake event as used if FAC comps...

You might contact George Bredehoft, Mr. Volare Products.

He built the Yankee IV at half size recently and was flying it at Muncie last weekend.

Yes, there was a typical construction article in the Jan 51 MAN regarding the Yankee IV.

It does qualify and it flies well.

I have developed a short kit and two prototypes have been built.  I will be releasing the short kit for sale soon (still some finalizing for production left).

I did draw a 1/2 size and just finished drawing a full size version but I wanted the article to go with it IF one existed and add it to my collection...thanks guys for responding.
