Title: DC Spitfire Post by: whiskers on March 05, 2019, 03:03:58 AM I have just taken delivery of a DC Spitfire. It has a blue head and an integral alloy tank fixed to the rear. What surprises me is that it has a domed piston. My DC Sabre (that's now running well - thanks guys!) has a flat piston as did other DC engines I recall having in the past. I take it some DC motors must have had domed pistons - I wasn't aware of this.
Anyway, the motor appears in fine fettle and I expect it will sing nicely. These diesels seem to be addictive...I am now awaiting a PAW 149 r/c. I must be sniffing the fuel too much, the man in the shop did warn me!!
