Title: 1955 Derek Illsey A/1 Nordic Khamseen
Post by: RandyW on August 31, 2019, 03:09:29 AM
Just finished test flying my Khamseen.  Never had a glider trim so easily before.  1/64" shim under the stab trailing edge and got 2 magnificent flights off the bungee.  Climbed straight as a die dropped  off without a problem and had a really slow steady glide.  Only quit because I hadn't completed the dethermalizer installation and was afraid it would be lost!

Would any one out there know how the name is pronounced? The model flies so well I would like to do it justice by getting the name right in conversation!

Thanks

Randy

Hi RandyW.  Congratulations on your Khamseen glider flights.   Do you have any in flight pics, or pics of your build and the finished model?    I'm interested to see what a "Khamseen" looks like ....  Thanks.
