Title: New Design

To be called -- what else? Squarecoupe. The "box" is facing a 2.5x3" side to the airflow, which seems to be necessary to get the aesthetics right.

(no LG yet -- fill that in as you will).

That's going to look real nice. You can definitely see the heritage. Just a quick suggestion.... how about leaning the sides of the canopy frame inward about 10 degrees, that would give it more of a canopy look. Just me thinking out loud. Going to like watching this one get built.

The problem is that any attempt to round the top means padding the thing out wider, if I want to accommodate the Bostonian Box. I really wanted to round edges -- but that would have meant making the thing bigger yet.

Looks good, like a clipped wing Ercoup.

Yup. I was looking at an Ercoup wondering how easy it'd be to make a CL scale plane when I said "Hey wait a minute!!"

Those plans are actually drawn over an Ercoup three-view, in case you're wondering if the resemblance is intentional...
