It looks good, Adam, who is the maker of the timer?

John,
timer is from Sergei Vorvihvost /Ukraina/ http://www.f1jpq.com/ well, I bought some F1J components from them a while ago.
Front part (carbon skin) - Engine mount (plus fuel stop system) - Timers - Bunt
I can stricly recommend it, perfect communication and service.

At 600 bucks plus postage...a bargain then all you need is a Cyclon or FORA 06. There are about 6 being flown in OZ at the moment and easier to fly than an F1C!

Hello all,
Does anyone know or have experience with an event where F1P and F1C models fly all together. Based on Fai sporting code its possible, not only for juniors. I would like to make a proposal to our Free Flight Comite to accept F1P category in Czech Cup F1ABC 2014 for all of us .

http://www.fai.org/downloads/ciam/SC4_Vol_F1_FreeFlight_2014

Classes
The following separate classes are recognised for World Cup competition: F1A, F1B, F1C, F1E, F1Q, F1A Junior, F1B Junior, F1P Junior and F1E Junior. In F1C events, F1P models may be flown to the F1P class rules alongside the F1C models and be included in the F1C World Cup (and also for F1P Junior for junior fliers).

Note that under World Cup rules (Volume F1 Annex 1 para1) F1P models may be flown alongside F1C in World Cup Open Internationals. The F1P models are flown to their class rules except that the maximum flight time must be the same as the F1C flights. The F1P results are included with the F1C results for F1C World Cup scoring and also count for F1P Junior World Cup for junior flyers.

Definitely covered, wings by Oracover Air Indoor (17g/m) and tail with silver Mylar (5.8g/m) ... and Balsaloc best choice, much better than any contact glue UHU, Patex or etc. ....

That looks promising Adam, how many flights have you had?
What engine are you using?
John

p.s. Bruce Hannah and I have (independently) been working on F1P designs - if we get them done, that would treble the number flying F1P at Tangent in August!
