You guys ar looking good, It's good that you have a flying buddy after all these years, nothing can replace that alliance. I am enjoying your regular presentations of pictures, so keep them comming. I read every one and enjoy all the images.
My oldest flying buddy is Ratz the administrator of this site. We have been involved in Model aviation together since 1984.

Thanks

My flying matebuilds racers for me to fly. We started flying together when I got into CL in 1963.
Before that we spent a few years together at the same primary school. So I've known this bloke for about 50 of my 60 years.

We both have had breaks from modelling for the usual family, cars, study etc.

Started racing together about 7 years ago.

HI 47,

I think it is great to have a flying buddy over the years, there is some one you can talk with also.

None of the Model people I knew closely before about 1970 continued in the hobby, other than my kid, born in 1963, and soloed with a Half-A in 1968. I do have many good friends in the hobby, scattered around the country here and there, but none are local. I greatly miss having George Aldrich to go to with engine tech stuff; I knew him fairly well, from a few years before my first kid was born.

Not in C/L .. but in FreeFlight ... about 57 years. Lost touch over the years, but when I arrived in Canada I found him well established here, albeit about 130 miles away. Get together on occasion, and fly together (still same interests) at Geneseo several times each year

My oldest friend and flying buddy was Willis Swindell, for almost 60 years passed away last week and I still can not get over what has happened. For those who knew Willis you know why I am having trouble with his death.
