There was some info included in the Oct. 2011 issue of RCMW (RC Microworld).
"JOE MALINCHAK & WORLD’S
SMALLEST ELECTRIC RC DUCTED FAN
This is a shot of my latest project I just
completed. You are the first person that I am
sending it to. I built and flew a 4.2 inch wingspan
MiG 15 just a few days ago.
It is now the worlds smallest EDF beating
my own record. My 5.5 inch span 1/72 MiG 15
previously held the record. It uses a 450mg single
phase motor and a 15mm ducted fan that I made!
The model weighs only 1.8 grams RTF".
