I know most of us here are very comfortable with balsa and rightly prefer it, however there are a huge (and ever growing) community of modelers out there who have zero experience with balsa and are quite intimidated by it. After trying to convince them to try balsa gliders because the foamboard chuck gliders out there fly like crap, I concluded that it was time to try a different method.

So I present to you the foamboard Sweepette. No, it doesn't fly half as well as a balsa one. Actually not even 1/4 as well, but it flies better than anything else out there made from foamboard.

The plans can be downloaded here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1LU0sNY0_ZPTM-nwy29SkpzkFgpMce6RI

And here is a flight video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoFLbF-t0Rk

And build video (most of us don't need it, but hey, there it is): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hcn2auOrE-0

Wow Josh, you are everywhere! I know that this things isn't new but it still impresses me to see the thing. Mine flies OK but loves to roll around. I even used dimes for ballast! I can't test it full throw because the wind and rain hate me right now LOL
