A Slicker 42 with Taifun Hobby Mk1 which seems less of a lump than a Mills 1.3. It balances as prescribed. Converted KSB timer system as advised by Dave Hipperson with instant DT for trimming, another arm for short flights (Old Warden?!) and fuse at the back. It will be trimmed SLOP style and so has right inner washin. It will get a proper wooden spinner after I've got past the stuffing-it-into-the-ground stage.

Very nice Bill. I like the the use of a single function timer to give two functions , very clever

Very nice Bill, is it for a competition class or for your own amusement? Gary

Hi Gary. The Slicker was my first successful power model in around 1966 so I wanted another just for fun. But I also never understood the mystery of the trimming for a left climb and wanted to investigate that. It has SLOP warps

Sometimes I just fail to follow some threads and miss some interesting items... I just saw the timer by Jon Whitmore was already posted here some time ago, only found out about it a few days ago on facebook. I also just realised, despite the obvious real name always present, that he, Slowmatch, is Yak52... And finally that I would like a timer of his some time, when he makes them available (or sooner, I do not mind ) Have something underway, something minor not worthy of a dedicated thread, but no pictures to show yet. Instead, here is a plane I really liked when I saw it in Denmark, might make Richard Hewitt reconsider the finish? Unless he already has that in mind... George

Hi Bill, yes an unusual find indeed...
Did not look for it, was more interested in the aircraft next to it...
A very interesting Museum, Stauning, with plenty of aircraft of all periods. Highly recommended...

I have the impression you do go out often enough... Whether that includes visiting foreign aviation museums, I do not know... It is a museum worth visiting but is not easily accessible, i.e. close to a city. As for the 504N, needless to say I have a few hundred photographs of it already, so just ask George

A KK Nieuport 17, much-lightened as per ZK-AUD's Camel. Not quite a minute yet but totally stable with a flat wing

No, it goes together with the last picture.
I see now that I did not provide enough information for a chance at guessing. My fault...
Hope the one attached is more complete

I agree with Gary about the Staggerwing. Thanks for the offer of more Berg and Storm Monoplane pics too. I may take you up on that someday!

Busted... Very well done, Gary and Dan, a Staggerwing and an Elias Aircoupe... The Staggerwing is built after the A.A. Lindberg plan in October '85 Model Builder, the Aircoupe after own plans. I built the Staggerwing back then (16...) and we used to toss it around in our club's workshop as a glider. It glided well until one day we decided to see what happens if we attach a tiny dinamite stick to a strut and light it before launch... Too bad there were no video capabilities back then And of course, they are NoCals... a HWYM and a DWYB, just what Bill Dennis likes seing. I decided to give certain gentlemen a run for their money in a class where duration is important (Richard C, Graham B), So I chose NoCal, because, lets face it, no chance in Peanut and Pistachio... I should have them ready by November, Friday the 11th for triming. Here is what I should have posted, to begin with... George PS DWYB is again just another silly thing, i know...
