Just an update! I certainly WISH I had been on vaction, but actually underwent heat surgery. Had a few complications, and ended up spending 31 days in hospital. Glad to be home, now. Getting stronger everyday. Can't draw just yet (still too shakey), but haven't forgotten the Mustang plan.  Y'all take care.

It's been a couple months since you last posted your status, packardpursuit. Hope you are doing better and back to building.

Spirit is willing but the flesh is a bit weak! Found what I believed was a decent model plan the other day but resisted linking it here cause I'm still am not drawing or building much, yet  and my consciences was bothering me a bit. Roll Eyes

Here is the link anyway: http://www.outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=7348

Enjoy.

That's a really nice scale subject, full fuselage Bonzo. Build it light with a thicker airfoil section and would probably be a decent sport model for boring holes in the sky.

Hey, this 1/12 scale CL plan just appared in Builder's Plan Gallery:

Of late,  lot of interesting/new to me scale drawings have been added by forumite  "hisat' from Czech  model magazine, Modlar. A few clinkers but mostly credible scale docs. If you haven't signed up to view model plans and scale drawings, plus lots of cool model related stuff, on this site's "Builder's Plan Gallery"
you're missing a tremendous modeler's asset!

Zlin 212 control line scale plan and article from modelar magazine. Nice to see  civil light aircraft! Quick check on Wikkipedia shows the design goes back to 1935, so officially it's an antique aircraft. Note 47" span and .15 size disel engine. Rt in our discussion about relatively low  power in CL scale.
