Any progress, or will it suddenly appear fully-formed?!

Good question.
Several of Chris Starleaf's build threads on SFA suddenly came to an end prior to completion.
Some pics were later found in various picture albums and contest reports.
Because of the lag in publication time, we may not see a pic until next year if at all.

Sorry Dave but what is SFA? And what is this lag in publication time? Are you saying the pictures will appear in US modelling mags instead of here?

SFA stands for Small Flying Art. Google it and have a nice long look.

BUMP!

Wondering if any further info on this build is available.  Would love to see completed pictures if the bird is completed.  Please!

I've seen Chris a few times this summer.  I am sure he is fine.  I believe he said he had not completed the model before flying season.  It's likely on a (BIG) shelf until this building season.

Yes, talked with Chris and he just lost his mojo once flying season started up. I'm sure he will complete the build over the winter and early spring months.
I can't wait to see this one fly.
