in maybe 35 years - longer if I figure my last Free Flight competition in the late `60s. While gluing together a trio of starter R/C electric planes I slapped together an HLG, recalling how much they were. I added a launch peg since my tossing arm ain't what it use to  be, and it wasn't all that smoking fast back then. She's heavy at 24 grams - a few more grams and she'd qualify as a Wal-Mart shopper, but I was scrounging from the wood bits pile to put her together. Anyway, after a half dozen fooling with the clay nose ballast test flights, she flew, a nice long flight with a gentile left turn. Considering her tonnage as HLGs go I have not rigged a DT, but I do have a lost plane contact tag on her!
