Hi there,
I was wondering who will be attanding the BMFA meeting at RAF Shawbury at the end of next month? Dave Whitehouse and myself hopefully should be there. I'll be bring along my Miles Magister that I built for the Nats but I've also built an enlarged and slightly modified version of the Keil Kraft flying scale Piper Super Cruiser at just under 24" span. I've kept the finish in coloured tissue only as ther will be no static judging and also to save on weight (approx 35.5 grms without rubber). I'm also in the process of building a bostonion Speedster that should be ready for trimming in a couple of weeks.
Cheers, Dave. Tongue

Personally, I'll be quaking with a Fairchild now being steered(ish) courtesy of Spektrum 2.4Ghz!

I hate missing Impington, but I think it will have to be Shawbury at this rate.
Not sure what I will get chance to get ready though .... I've been going cross-eyed making spoked wheels lately!

I'm going. Was thinking of trying to get the PO2 finished, but on balance would rather  trim it at the Velodrome where there are no walls and is more space. So I'll probably just fly in the rubber class with something relatively reliable like either my Farman or, as there's no static judging, the old Guillow's Fairchild.

No, I don't know anything you don't, Russ. I was just sort of hoping there might be a meeting there some time before Christmas.

That's great, Dave. Are those dates official? - If so, I think it would be a good idea to start a Velodrome thread in the events section. I for one hope to get to at least 2 or 3 of them.

Hi Pete,

as far as I know, these dates which have been passed on to me are correct. Hopefully, there should be an official notification confirming these dates soon.
Cheers, Dave.
