So this is going to by my slow winter build. I'm going to try a newish construction method: Glass covered Depron. There are guys here doing amazing things with the stuff and it's dirt cheap and light. It's going to be three channel for the slope and I'm aiming for a 3 - 4 kilos finished weight. Length will be 94" and wingspan 64".

I'll be working from this three view:

Hand for size comparison:

Will be done in these colours:

Busy gluing LOTS of A4's together at the mo!

hmmmm.... I like those pins!  So, if it is for the slope no chance of you coming to Norfolk or Peterborough then? Oh well, will just have to travel.

I always feel the Bucc. is a much neglected aeroplane as a model so well done on your choice. I am told it is one of the more stable jets.

PS. Work is an intrusion on your liberty - best you finish with it?

Finally...someone doing the Buccaneer! Now I can tell my joke......where does a pirate captain keep his buccaneers?  why, under his bucc'n hat of course!  Sorry, I couldn't resist.  Will be watching this and enjoying it as much as your other builds.

OK, now I understand what you are really up to.
Your next "model" jet will be human sized and powered by four small gas turbines.
(Somewhere back in time I saw an article where a guy built a scaled down B-17 for himself. Can't remember if he got it into the air.)
Very challenging project and subject. I'm impressed.

Yip, we can get it here, not as Cheap as in Europe. Actually at three times the price. I will be going to germany next year march or so, so guess what's coming back with me. About 60 sheets of Depron.

Thanks for the info Monique.

I have a half-built EDF Bucc, your build might just spur me on to finish it or maybe I'll chuck it on the fire and buy some depron instead!

I'm impressed by your progress, it will look great when it's all together. The Bucc is my favourite curvy bird!

These okes are the cheapest that I've seen. http://www.depron.co.uk/ the grey being cheaper than the white (larger sheets for same price, about 30% more area).
