Walt Mooney Boston Found

This is one of the first builds I did back in the early 80s after seeing how Walt's original Found flew. Of course mine did not look too great but it flew all right. This is built per the plans and will be finished just like the original, covered white with Canadian markings. I built the main construction in 2 days and that is using white glue. She is covered with preshrunk white Esaki attached with 50/50 white glue/water. Today I will brush on 2 coats of dope. I hope to have another day off this week to get her all finished.

Dave,
Great to see these again. I had forgotten just how well these Walt Mooney
planes can be. I wonder if anyone would be interested in doing a cookup?
Always amazed at your projects and how you assemble them.

I really enjoyed this build, brought back some good memories. The detailed the plane to match Walt's build, now I just need to take her out for a test flight. The final weight as shown is 14.2 grams.

More pictures. The red and yellow Bostonian Found is my uncles design that I built a couple of years ago.
