Hi all,
I just started a new PP One Nite 28 laser cut kit. There is a part labeled F12 that I can't find on the plan. It is about 5/8" tall and looks like the letter V with an upside down W on top. An e mail to Peck received no reply. What is it?

Could it be laser cut gussets, either for the wing dihedral joints/tips or possibly the fuselage to take the wing hold down bands?

It's not gussets, I think the laser operator is just messing with my head.

Part F12 was in the Peck Prairie Bird, Flying Aces Moth, One Nite 16, and One Nite 28 kits that I built. Never found a use for the part but the models fly great without it.

F12 was an "inside joke" deal at the new Peck Polymers.  Tom (not the owner Tim) told me they were going to have some sort of a contest/sweepstakes using the mystery part.  Collect 'em all and redeem your winning entry...

Anyway, it is a non-airworthy component. Roll Eyes

Nice idea - now we have the makings of a new club for those who fly with F12....
