started the birdcage corsair today it is a 30 inch w/s model similar in design to Joe Ott style model. box formers with wings attached to the outside fuselage, will have fun making this a one piece wing.

JOY!  my first pics.  foto 2 gives sketches of what the model will look like.

while cleaning up my model table i found my missing twin p40 rudder. i plan to finish that one this month

 Grin  well it took a while but it was finally warm enough to finish stringing the fuselage  i used 3/32 forward and 1/16 aft of the engine firewall. today the grandkids showed up so K  came down stairs and i glued a few sticks in place to show him how it was done.

 Grin tail feathers built. model will be cleaned up on assy. next i am working on the inner wing panels
