I've been building Guillow Cadets with my children. I decided to make a few variations on my own using the plans, including a heavy one out of bass wood. Last night I glued together the sticks to make an lightened version from 1/16" balsa instead of the regular 3/32". Also decided to make an improved wing following the suggestions on another discussion list. Looking forward to getting a light prop, covering with tissue and flying this baby!
