I would like to sponsor and run a International P30 Postal League in the 2016 Calendar year through the P30 Page website  (www.P30Page.weebly.com)

Basic idea:   To have fun building and flying P30's!!!
1. League is for 2016 Calendar year
2. Regular AMA P30 rules (slight regional differences are permitted by permission of the league Director (me))
3. Up to 6 contests can be submitted to the league
4. Contests include: Regular P30 Contests, P30 Postal contests, Fly by yourself contests (self timing allowed)
5. Two contests may be flown concurrently or consecutively on the same day.

League Scoring:  Total flight time + 10 second bonus for each flyoff max.  What other scoring systems would you suggest?

Cash prizes given to top 6 places (you wish) It's really an electronically generated certificate  Cool And loud accolades throughout the electronic free flight world.

Cheating is not allowed. Honor system will be used. If you cheat your P30 flights for the rest of your life will be 119 seconds long.

That's the basic idea. Any constructive input is encouraged. Does this sound like something you would participate in?

And the League Director may participate if the League Director allows it Roll Eyes

May I fly my factory built Perky 30?

And thanks

Glad to see there is interest in the League!  I've received several interesting suggestions on Facebook with respect to  the postal league rules. I plan on writing up first draft of the rules this weekend which I will post on this site as well as Facebook when finished.

Yes to the rules and yes I would like to participate.

Tim

Tim, yes you can. There won't be a Builder of the Model rule in the P30 Postal League. The more the merrier!

You should get at least 4 participants from here in Melbourne Australia, Maybe 7 or more.
The format suits our circumstances well.

Sounds fun. Perhaps a reasonable impetus to get me to build another P-30 since the current one is old and has a piece of junk for a wing (proof that even junk will max on 4 strands and a Gizmo?).

Flyoffs per AMA rules?

Flying throughout 2016, right?

I could use a favor in testing out the electronic response form for the International P30 Postal league. If you would like to help please visit the result scoring page found here: http://p30page.weebly.com/international-p30-postal-league-2016.html

Please pretend that you have completed a contest and fill out the contest report form by making up your result and entering them in the various dialog boxes. You can upload a picture in the form as well.  This would test out the form design so I can get it all set. Thanks for the help!

The form accepted all that I threw at it.  Did it register?

I've been looking for an excuse to build my first P30. This is the best one I've come across. I have the Centaur plan in hand, and really want to try it, but I think the rolled fuse may be beyond my abilities.

Whatever, I'm in too!

Just build a box fuselage, David, if uncertain.

I'll be 'in' for the Postal even though unsure if I can manage opportunities for four events .. let alone five.
