Well, I'm looking for a new piston and connecting rod for a K&B 6.5. Mine decided to break just before launch last month at Muncie! Everything looks good in the engine. I would be glad to re-imburse anyone for these components.

Thks, Scott

Isn't this an ABC engine (ringless aluminum piston) design? If it is the piston is usually matched to the cylinder. So you likely need a cylinder that is fitted to the replacement piston. I'll check my attic for parts. I use to run a lot of K&B 6.5/7.5cc FI and RI engines. But as you have seen the rod and piston often take the hit.

Have you looked here for new parts?

Cut it twice and it's still too short!

Yes it's an ABC engine. Thanks for the Mecoa site I'll check with them.
