Cute model! Great report!
Is that a Czech hook in the propshaft? If so, homemade? A personal preference, or randomly used?
Sorry for too many questions...
Thanks for posting this build! Let us know how it flies!

Regards
Julio

A beauty Randy...looking forward to the flight report.

Hmmm...this would make a cute 26 inch rubber model eh? Would almost certainly need a DT.

Thanks Guys Grin

Well spotted Julio. I'm a bit lazy so I used the prop hook from a Butterfly model (indoor parlour plane (?) kit) that's easily available over here - the prop/hub unit can be bought as a spare from Flitehook and is excellent. I've used it on a few indoor models without any problems in the past and as the saying goes "If it ain't broke don't fix it" Wink

It's definitely summer here... the rain is pattering down on the window as I type Sad
I don't get the opportunity to fly indoors much so it tends to be a winter evening activity...

(By the way, who's Randy?) Undecided

Ha, Ha....I have no Idea who Randy is Roll Eyes I must have been thinking "Daddy" but "Randy" came out Huh One of the unexplainable but quite funny moments...when I reread my post I thought " who is Randy? I don't think Daddyo is named Randy" I even went back and checked to see if you had signed off as Randy but to no avail.

Weird how the mind does not work.

hi DaddyO, Thanks for sending me the plan of the skyrider. No one thinks that people will ever build from their plans, but I have built it at P nut scale. Just a rush job whilst camping in the rain on my holidays! Nothing special about this build.

John
Good to see your holiday wasn't wasted, I got to agree with Pete, even a paper cut out would do the trick. Aren't these things a touchy subject up your way.

Nice Sparkle - glad to see it come to fruition Smiley

I must take mine along with me to the next indoor event to see if I can get it flying properly....

I misread the title as "Sky Raider" and expected to see a tiny AD. Cheesy

Not familiar with this design but looks like a good one, and yours looks great.

Happy new year, everyone.

Cheesy Hi DadyO, Took it to indoor last night. It needed a little nose weight and the right size rubber (and length, not too long as it was causing vibrations,) and was loverly! Hope yours goes well. Sparkle. Ps too lazy to make a pilot this time, maybe later!
