G'day
Anyone out there have a handle on how many Tiger Cubs, Schnuerle version, were made by the Olivers?
I have a Tom Ridley (RIP, Tom) one, serial number somewhere in the 800s (I think - cant see ....).
Or indeed, how many Tom made!
Thanks

John Goodall's 2004 book 'The Olivers and a Tiger'  [ISBN 0-9547060-0-5 and 0-9547060-1-3 (hardback & paperback respectively)] has reasonable coverage of the subject-as well check out the Barton forum (www.controlline.org.uk) for more info-they maintain an Oliver serial number register on it.

Many thanks ff....I have a copy of John Goodalls excellent book.  Dates of manufacture are there,  but no list of sernos.
Will consult the Barton site.
Have discovered mine is in fact No 681 ....

PS my Cub is barely run in, but compression does seem to be a bit on the low side (especially when cold!) in comparison with say a PAW or MVVS of same size.  Goes like stink, though!  I wonder if this is a feature of the Cub.
