A while back my wife worked in a dental practice, and on occasion brought home items sent as samples to the practice, in case I might find them useful. Amongst the most useful were micro brushes, which are plastic sticks with a fluffy fibrous tip. They come in a variety of sizes, and seem relatively impervious to most solvents. They work well for detail cleaning, and for controlled application of glues, including cyano. They are perfect for removing excess glue from assembled joints. They are cheap, disposable items, and I have found the ones on Ebay just as good as the originals from the dentist.
