I decided to open a new thread with announcements for our rubber power meetings in switzerland. I will post all the future meetings to this thread instead of open new threads for every single meeting. This way, we have all the information for the swiss meetings in one place. Hope this ist acceptable for you Our next rubber power meeting will be held on 21.Oktober 2017 in Olten on the glider airfield "Gheid" There is no competition, just for fun! Allowed is everything powered with rubber or CO2. If the weather is to bad, it will be canceled, there is no reserve date. If someone is interested, please send me a PM. I will be happy to give you more information or answer your questions. I just found out, that there is a new video of our spring meeting this year. Hope you enjoy it Best regards and see you soon Roman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omHmUgTzke4

Hi Roman,
Great video. Looks like a neat place to fly. And had a good chuckle when I saw the credits at the end.

That was a great video and all of our compliments to the production crew. The shots of all the planes flying in relative closeup fading to more planes flying and then to more planes flying, launching and flying, a few of winding and Louis Armstrong in the background.....a great 4 minute treat. A very nice change from our usual home videos of specks in the sky.

Thanks Roman- a highly enjoyable video and some great looking models. I especially like the look of that silver bipe with the Swiss markings on the tail, and great to see George's little fat Bellanca doing its stuff against that permanently blue Swiss sky! (My kind of music too!)

Hi Roman, Thanks for the thread and for the video link. Indeed a pleasure to see again some of the action and an appetizer for Olten Great music (how was it allowed?) and funny credits indeed. Re the silver bipe: Not only a vintage design, but a vintage model too. The owner told me it was a pre/WWII model built by his father or grandfather...Some models really last long... George

Great stuff Roman - you know you're Switzerland when you see the alpenhauser in the background like that! It looked as though the terrain did not always make it easy - are you flying on the side of a hill there? I couldn't see crampons and rope but I was looking! The lovely slow bipe looked like an Albatros or Aviatik - is there a plan around for this model? Thanks again - I look forward to seeing the PC9 in the next video. PS loved the Louis Armstrong.

Or a Haefeli maybe? Looks great whatever it is.

Holy Moly, I am just two days away and there are 14 responds to my post:-) Just to make it clear, the video is not from me! Sorry if my post made the impression. The credits all go to Zöpfli! Zöpfli, great to see you here! It was just luck that I found your great video on the IG Albatros website. Thanks a lot for sharing, hope to see you in Olten! It looked as though the terrain did not always make it easy - are you flying on the side of a hill there? I couldn't see crampons and rope but I was looking! a Ha ha, you must live in a very flat part of the world Look at the picture, it's a small vineyard in the background, no crampons are needed By the way, it was the finest soft swiss grass, ideal for trimming. Only the wind was a bit to much... But hey, you can not have everything I am not sure about the name of the silver bipe. I will ask for it and will inform you. Roman

Hi Roman Indeed, the finest soft swiss grass, ideal for trimming together with this windy day prepared me some Trouble to find my peanut P39 Airacobra with his green camo . Peter had more fun with his Paper Pistachio size catapult Launch glider, with some near 1 Minute flight. Dalat

The model of the silver Bi-Plane is a Haefeli DH-3. Built by the father of Hansruedi Zeller and repaired an renovated by Hansruedi . This model is an old-timer and more than 50 years old. Greetings from Peter from the Swiss one To a new member in the forum and eager builder of rubberpowered models

Best Regards Zöpfli I'm on a regular PC, but I also tried on mobile and my neighbor's Notebook (laptop) with no luck. It might be due to the copyright, but Heinz was able to view it... maybe the browser (FireFox)? Go figure...

VERY strange... still can't view on my PC, even after checking all codecs and settings. Only problem on Zoepfli's channel, and NOT on all the videos . Just for a X-check, I called up the clip on my cell-phone and it played perfectly... VERY ENJOYABLE!

Zip.58, great to see you on HPA. What about Olten, will you be there? Thanks for answering the question about the silver bipe. Dalat, you are right, green camo doesnt go to well with green grass.... your should build an other plane with different colours for the fall meeting Olten? Are your Hunter and Mirage ready to be flown? George, I have your prototype ready by the meeting in Olten. If you dont plan to come to Olten, I could bring it to Nijmegen... Roman
