Decided to take the opportunity  to runaway from the thick smoke in the bay area from the fires, and slope Southern California. I got as far south as Santa Barbra.

The first set of photos are from Marina/Sand City area. I’m sloping the Multiplex Cularis. This was a perfect  model for the area. I'm flying from a hang glider launching ramp. I needed full lift control (crow) to drop into the narrow landing zone. Notice the shadow of the Cularis on the fence

The next set of photos were taken at Elwood Bluffs in Santa Barbra. The photo were taken by a bystander who happened to be using a telephoto lens to photograph wildlife. The Calypso was a perfect match for the light lift conditions. I spent 4 hours on this slope and still didn’t use up a full battery. I didn’t need the motor and only used the motor to make nice looking loops.

Great shots Konrad. Get's me in the mood. Cloudy here drizzling and cold in Ventura. Has bee for days. Winds Southwest. Waiting for the west winds or get out my powered ASW or Raiden and hi the beach.
