Guillows P-51 Thrust Bearing Magnets

Hello,
I had a request to post some pics of a modification I did to keep the thrust bearing in place on my Guillows series 900 P-51 build, so here they are.
Basically, I used a small round piece of 3/16" balsa and drilled four holes to hold the magnets in place with super glue. I also glued a thin metal washer to the inside of the cowling for the magnets to stick to.
I added a piece of 3/16" balsa to take up the extra space between the spinner and the cowling.
Please let me know if anyone has a question.

Hi BalsaGuy55. That idea looks really good. Now where do I get those little magnets ? And thanks for the detail pics that really showed the installation.
I think they could really save me a lot of time, taping and untaping the block to the nose ...

Woodsman, I should be thanking you for helping me get my pics rotated correctly on my posts.
Here is where I purchased the magnets:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/100-pcs-tiny-craft-Warhammer-magnet-Disc-rare-earth-Neo-1-8-dia-x-1-32-thick/182507529470?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
I would add that if you also installed magnets on the cowling (instead of using a washer as I did) so that you had magnet to magnet contact points instead of magnet to washer, the holding power would be greater. I thought about doing that after I had already built most of the plane. I may try that on a Skyraider that I am building now.
Best,
Dan
