Well another build is complete. It's a scratch built Zingo with a Maverick stab instead of the rectangular one. Pwr. is a K&B 3.25/3.5 swinging an APC 7.8 X 4 prop. Don't have the finished weight yet but it feels pretty good. This brings my to trim list to 5 new plans!#$%& Wind is getting to me!! May have to go to Palm Bay for a weekend of trimming/flying of new and repaired planes!! Pic's attached.

I might be ready to go to Palm Bay myself.   About two or three weeks work and I will have a couple 1/2A's to get re-trimmed.

Is this the FAI size Zingo, Scott?
If so, it should be fairly exciting on the K&B.

Good luck with the wind (and the trimming)!

VERY exciting.   Long time ago now in the '70s there was Rossi 15 in a Zingo here and it was a crazy thing.
My Rossi 15 ORCAs ate it alive and loved eating it.
Nice build though Scott, as usual.

Yes, this is the FAI size Zingo but built alot lighter. I have a Rossi .15 also that was the second choice!! Dean if you do go to Palm Bay in a couple of weeks let me know and I'll try and meet you there.

Will do, and the same if you are planning a trip.

The only thing that will mess it up is the new job I am applying for.

You've still got winter up there lad.  When the Hobby Shop (Always Capitalize) closed several friends tried to talk me into buying it.  When the local Piper dealer wanted to start a flight school Tim Batiuk and others wanted me to take on the job.  My reply to all was to the effect, "You have real winter up here!"

Alabama is as far north as this Florida boy wants to go.  3 winters in Germany cured me forever.

Dead calm down here the first two hours and last two  hours of daylight 5 days out of 7.

Got one more workbench to clear off and I am back gluing balsa together.
