As a few may be aware, there is a new Facebook page called Vintage FAI Free Flight, and it has caused quite a few old photographs to be scanned and uploaded.
It isn't just power, although most pictures to surface thus far, are F1Cs.
Root through your cupboards and photo albums, and lets flood Facebook! If you're not keen on the Social Media scene, I (and probably a few others here on HPA) can assist, just contact me using the Personal Message (PM) system.

Hi Mike and John
I've flown with Fred Chilton, Dave Greaves and Gerry Pink on many occasions, sadly no more. Keep up the good work!

Right on all counts Mike, I think it was the last Trebod - '81? You must have piles of good photographs........ ........& so must Martin Dilly.

Yes, I have quite a few but I'm afraid Facebook and my 15 foot bargepole never touch. Any other means of propagation? Not quite sure what constitutes Classic either; in my book it was a continuum, from Shulman's Banshee to Fuseev's Pelican.

Vintage FAI Power as a flying class cuts off at 1979, but there are a few early 80's pictures on the FB page, too. So I guess in broad terms, the period 1950 to 1985 (A/2, Wake or Power) If you can scan, you can email them to me, and I can post them.
I will PM you my email. John

I never even scanned mine, simply took a pic of the pic on my phone and used it from there. Can be sent to a phone number or an email address.

That works Howard, but I guess it depends on the quality of camera on your phone. Martin Dilly very kindly sent a few pictures, including this one of Harry Raulio at the 1961 Champs.
