Mine works extremely well from a catapult.
Hello Bob Smiley
Does it work as HLG, or tip launch as well?

It's a standard issue Yashinskiy Tit except I put some carbon tow on the wing and a hook and a pull tab. I have thrown it with a discus throw but the trim right now is for flying in a small Cat 1 site with catapult. I can't fly it both ways with the same trim setup. As I said above it's done 43 in a low Cat 1 site and 53 in a 10m Cat 2 site - both as catapult. The tow on the wing probably wasn't necessary.

Thanks for the response Bill
I think this is the critical statement "I can't fly it both ways with the same trim setup."
This is what I mean about just popping a hook on a HLG and pinging it from a catapult, I've never had any success without changing the HLG trim.
It sounds like you are the same.

HLG and CLG trim are not the same.
